Personal recommendation brings Vijay’s first site to JET

JET has welcomed VST Group’s 10th site, Porters Garage in Grimsby, as the first site in Vijay Jaganathan’s portfolio to join the JET brand, following a referral from a long-standing JET dealer. For Vijay, Director of VST Forecourts Ltd and Eling Ltd, the move marks the start of a new relationship built on the trust that comes with a personal recommendation.

Porters Garage, on Barnoldby Road in Grimsby, reopened to the public on Friday 22 May. Vijay acquired the previously closed site and invested in bringing it back into operation, including installing new pumps and refitting the Londis convenience store. The forecourt also offers a wide range of groceries, vegetables and household products, along with a Costa Coffee machine, Rollover hot dogs, pizza, Country Choice products and a PayPoint ATM.

The site is Vijay’s first with JET, marking the beginning of a new relationship for his growing network. “JET came recommended to us at the right time, and that counted for a lot,” says Vijay, adding: “Confidence in the relationship and the support on offer helped shape the decision to bring Porters Garage, a new addition to the portfolio, into the JET network.”

Looking ahead, Vijay is planning a larger-scale redevelopment in around 18 to 24 months, underlining a long-term commitment to the site and to strengthening its offering for motorists and the local community.
