JET expands Scottish network with two new Highland Fuels-supplied sites
JET is continuing to build its brand in Scotland, with two newly branded JET sites now joining the network through Highland Fuels’ authorised JET branded retail distributor arrangement with Phillips 66 Limited and extending the brand’s reach into more local communities across Aberdeenshire and Moray.

Drum of Wartle Filling Station near Inverurie and Craigellachie Filling Station in Moray are both now JET branded sites supplied by Highland Fuels, an authorised JET branded retail distributor. Drum of Wartle marks JET’s first branded site in Aberdeenshire, while Craigellachie is the second JET branded site in Moray. Both sites also represent competitive wins, having joined the network from Gleaner.
For the operators, the move was shaped by a combination of competitive supply, reliable day-to-day service, local understanding and confidence in the visibility and strength of the JET brand.
Each site serves a distinct community, but both reflect the same focus on combining a recognised fuel brand with a retail offer shaped around local needs.
At Drum of Wartle Filling Station, in a rural location on the A920 in Aberdeenshire, the site has been transformed into a larger Premier convenience store following its acquisition earlier this year by Buccaneer Fuels Limited. The site now serves both local residents and passing motorists with an improved shopping and food-to-go offer, with the move to JET branding marking the next stage in strengthening its forecourt proposition.
Meanwhile, Craigellachie Filling Station, operated by Craigellachie Filling Station Limited, sits in the heart of Speyside’s whisky-producing region and serves both the local community and visiting tourists. The site includes a large Londis shop, Costa Coffee, pay-at-the-pump for out-of-hours service, a 50kW EV charger and a modern car valet offer.
At Craigellachie, that confidence comes through clearly in Colin White’s view of the move. As Director of Craigellachie Filling Station, he described switching to the JET brand through Highland Fuels as “one of the best decisions the business has made”, pointing to “straightforward, reliable service from day one” and “the importance of having a fuel supplier the site can depend on in a rural Speyside location”.
For Colin, the value is not just operational. “The JET brand gives us great visibility and customer confidence,” he said, adding that the relationship feels “fully supportive and collaborative, rather than simply contractual”.
Ian Burgess, Retail Sales Representative at Highland Fuels, said: “These additions reflect exactly the kind of independently run sites we are proud to support through our relationship with JET – businesses with real local importance, a strong sense of place and a clear ambition to keep improving their offer for motorists.
“What matters to us is helping each site make the most of what makes it distinctive, whether that is serving passing traffic on a key route, supporting a rural catchment or meeting the needs of both local residents and tourists. That local understanding, backed by the strength of the JET brand, is what makes this arrangement work so well.”
Paul Yates, Retail Account Manager for Scotland, Phillips 66 Limited, added: “It is great to see two more Scottish sites joining the JET branded network through Highland Fuels, building on an arrangement that is already well established in the region.
“Each site has its own local role and character, and that is an important part of the story, as the two sites serve very different communities. Both show how a strong forecourt and convenience offer, backed by a trusted fuel brand, can be shaped around local needs.
“With these additions, there are now 50 JET-branded sites in Scotland, 12 of which are supplied by Highland Fuels under its authorised JET branded retail distributor arrangement with Phillips 66 Limited.”
The latest additions continue the growth of the JET brand in Scotland through Highland Fuels, which has previously supplied independent JET-branded sites under the same model, combining the strength of the JET brand with the reliability of Highland Fuels’ local service.
